In this video, I perform 550x12 on shrugs with a bit of sloppier form to target the traps and upper back muscles. While form is important, sometimes pushing heavy weight with less-than-perfect technique can help to build mass and overall strength in the traps. Watch as I demonstrate this high-rep set and explain how even sloppy reps can activate different muscle fibers for trap development. Be sure to tune in for tips on improving trap engagement, even during less controlled movements. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more strength training insights!
