$1,000 Reward Offered In Red Bank Drive-by Shooting

The Red Bank Police Department is offering a cash reward of $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the person or people responsible for two shootings in Red Bank on Monday night.Just before 11:00 pm on Monday, April 15, 2013, officers responded to a reported incident of shots fired in the area of Morrison Springs Road and Highway 27.  Officers found a vehicle that had been hit by bullets three times as the result of an apparent drive-by shooting. Witnesses reported that they saw a black, 4-door sedan, with four men inside fleeing the area eastbound on Morrison Springs Road and turn northbound onto McCahill Road.  A short time later, officers were notified of a motor vehicle crash in the 4400 block of McCahill Road.  There officers found the driver of the vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound and the victim of what appears to have been a second drive-by shooting. The shooting victim, Red Bank High School Senior, Teddi Robinson, 18, is recovering in an area hospital. None of the three passengers in the vehicle struck by gunfire on Morrison Springs Road were injured.Police Chief Tim Christol said, I have full confidence that our investigation will lead to the conviction of whoever perpetrated this crime, but it is my hope and expectation that this reward will speed up our investigation and help convince someone who may be holding onto important information to come forward.Anyone having knowledge or information that could be helpful to investigators is urged to call the Red Bank Police Department at (423) 875-0167, extension 2101.
