Central Bank urges Commercial Banks to embrace Agency banking

Bank of Uganda  has warned commercial banks that they face a drop in incomes if they do not embrace agency banking, seen as a cost cutting measure.

Since it’s inception 6,400 Agency banking agents have since been licensed and operating across the country, according to the Uganda Bankers  Association.
