Here we have an ECS movement with Class 40 40145 returning stock from Leeds to Crewe the day after the excitement of the Pathfinder/CFPS 'Cambrian Coast Express' rail tour that ran from Leeds to Aberwystwyth. This is a desolate view of platform 3 on Manchester Victoria where I waited two or three hours for this run-by which was a very smooth affair. Nobody else was in sight, and a very quiet Sunday it was apart from a number of DMU's running by. Still, it was well worth the wait and so thanks to the CFPS for another main line run featuring their flagship locomotive. The date was Sunday 3rd June 2007. Also see my other 'youtube' file filmed the day before in the same location. John Wantling, Rochdale, UK
