Journalist Maribe and her fiancé pleads not guilty to murder charges

Journalist Jacque Maribe and her fiancé Joseph Irungu alias Jowie have pleaded not guilty to murder charges.  They will spend two more nights in custody pending a bail mention this Wednesday. Maribe and Jowie are main suspects in the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani who was found dead in her apartment on September 19. The prosecution has objected to the release of  the duo on grounds that they could meddle with investigations.
