JSC warns against interference

The Judicial Service Commission has warned parties and members of the political class against open interference with judicial processes. In an apparent reference to recent attack on Justice George Odunga by Majority leader of the national assembly Aden Duale, JSC charged that it will not entertain meddling on affairs of the judiciary by any quarters urging all to respect independence of its officers. The commission however cautioned members of the bench against abuse of power in dispensing their mandates.
