NEMA issue closure notice to four night clubs in Nairobi

National Environment Management Authority has issued closure notices to four night clubs operating along Ngong road and Kilimani area in Nairobi over noise pollution. During an operation carried out by NEMA officials accompanied by security officers, Nairobi county executive in charge of environment Emma Muthoni said the move follows complaints by residents of loud music warning that if the clubs fail to adhere by the regulations they will face legal consequences.
