Residents decry increasing incidents of crime in Gatunyu, Murang'a

Residents of Gatunyu area of Gatanga, Muranga County, have called on the security agencies in the area to beef up security following increased cases of theft. Joseph Warachi a businessman from the area said that a group of thugs broke into his shop and packed goods worth over 100,000 shillings and later set the rest on fire. Warachi revealed that he suffered a loss of over 400,000 shillings. He called on the police to investigate and bring the perpetrators of these criminal acts to justice.
