Hey everybody I want to do a review of Offspring's new song that just got released. It's called "Coming For You". Now it's not clear as to whether they will be releasing a new album. I think it's probably assumed that they are releasing a new song they will be releasing a new song since their last album only came out in 2012.  And you know their last 2 albums surpsingly enough even though it produced some hits, they didn't sell all that well. That was probably due to the fact that a lot of people are not purchasing music anymore, a lot of people are streaming music and that probably has a lot to do with why they haven't sold that many copies of their recent albums. But lets talk about the song, so basically the intro in the drums of the song have a shuffle pattern to them, it reminds me a lot of the Muse song uprising. There's definetely a Muse kind of feel to this song and it's also got a Sum 41 kind of feel to it. I Thought the song was kind of mediocre. I thought their last album Days Go By was okay there was a handful of songs I liked but i just didn't feel like it was heavy enough for me or there weren't enough heavy songs and i kind of feel the same way about this song. It wasn't as heavy as it could have been and it just there just wasn't as much angst as there could been as well for me. I did like the guitar solo it does follow the melody a bit but i felt overall it wasn't as good as there older stuff. And you know these guys are getting older too they are almost in their 50's so it's probably harder to play the kind of music they were playing 20 or 30 years ago. but i think the song is mediocre.
