Overall 4/5 My review of Oasis upcoming album (What's the Story) Morning Glory? Reissue Oasis Album. Oasis have announced the remastered reissue for (What's the Story) Morning Glory?, their second studio album. It's out September 29. It's the second in the "Chasing the Sun" series, which kicked off with the reissue of Definitely Maybe earlier this year. Below, you can watch a short teaser for the reissue. The reissue includes B-sides, demos, and soundcheck recordings from the Oasis archives. A limited edition box set comes with a coffee table book, a 7" of the demos for "Hello" and "She's Electric", a 12" of their "Cum On Feel the Noize" cover and the Brendan Lynch remix of "Champagne Supernova", and a replica promo cassette. Maybe Liam Gallagher will have something to say about this one, too? Bands like Blur Oasis, Stone Roses are blowing up and becoming huge in North America. Wonderwall is being played everywhere on the radio. I shit you not. It seems like every band now from the 90’s is reissuing their old album and Oasis is no different. They reissued their first album from 1994 and now (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? Is now being reissued. I do find it a bit strange strange that this album came out in 1995 and it’s not being reissued on in 2015 to commemorate it’s 20th year anniversary. That being said it’s a reissue that features 3 full discs of music. The first disc contains all the songs on the original album. All the songs seem like they’ve been remastered and or are a little harder sounding than the original album. There’s also some extras thrown in. I think their’s a live version of Wonderwall on the first disc, the second disc contains a bunch of b-sides and the third disc contains a bunch of demos as well as live versions of the original songs. but I want to focus the review on the second and third disc. So The first disc is pretty much what you would expect and the sound is pretty good
