My review of the second track to be released from the Foo Fighters upcoming album Sonic Highways called The Feast And the Famine.

Overall: 4/5

So today i just wanted to do a quick review of the Foo Fighters second track they've released from Sonic Highways called "Feast And the Famine". It's basically the next city they are going to be showing on their HBO series is washington DC, which is where it was written And this song is a lot different from the first single they released. It sounds a lot like their earlier stuff from their first three albums. It's got a big punk rock influence and that's something that will be covered in second episode which airs tomorrow on HBO. It sounds like it has a bit of familiarity to other songs the Foo Fighters have done t Like it sounds a little bit like Rope, it sounds a bit like Low and it sounds a lot like White Limo just with more clear vocals.

And I think that being said i really enjoyed the track. I think it's got a great hook on it. I think the guitar hook in the bridge is probably my favourite part of the song and I think that being said it's a really great song. I'd probably give it a 4/5, but I don't feel like I can really appreciate the song completely and I know I am going to appreciate the song a lot more when I see episode 2 of the HBO documentary. I just need al title more context as to why this song was written, what were it's influences of the song. But so far the Foo Fighters new album is shaping up to be one of the top albums this year in the rock genre so I'm really looking forward to it. And stay tuned when I'm going to have a full review of Sonic Highways in the coming weeks. I'll see you guys later. Bye.
