Overall: 3.5/5 My review of their first single from dream walker Supergroup Angels & Airwaves are now streaming their new single 'The Wolfpack' from their fifth studio album The Dream Walker. Listen to the track below. Written, recorded and co-produced by Blink 182's Tom DeLonge, the collosal electro-inspired new track is described as "a bit of a journey in and out of the many teeth of the music business — an industry that can be a sexy girl on one hand, but a vicious axe murderer on the other." Not content with releasing a new album on 9 December, DeLonge has revealed that the LP is part of a much larger multimedia project entiled 'Poet Anderson The Dream Walker' with plans for a film and a novel. It is the first album from the band without producer Jeff 'Critter' Newell who died on New Year's Eve of 2011 at the age of 45. Hey everybody, it's Monday today. I want to do a quick review of Angels and Airwaves new song that just came out called the Wolfpack. Apparently it's the first single from their upcoming album POET (Dreamwalker). And their new album is due out in December. And this song. I really enjoyed this song, but I feel like there's a couple shortcoming with it.. I feel like most importantly like a lot of people are saying online is that the mixing doesn't seem like it could have been The mixing just seems like it coul have been so much better and I'm just talking about the synths.I love the synthesizers in the song it's just that they're a little too loud and I feel like they drown out the vocals and that was something I felt a lot with paralyzed when the demo came out and even when the final version came out I just felt like the synths were too loud and I don't really get to hear Tom's (DeLonge's) voice and I have a hard time hearing the lyrics in the song. The other thing too is that this song does sound like a couple Angels and Airwaves song, but if you actually go YouTube it sounds a lot like I think it's called Knife by Heartbeats or something like that. Literally the synth line sounds almost identical, but the synthesizer in Angels and Airwaves song is a bit faster it seems, but it sounds very similar to it, but that being said I think it's a really solid song. I think it's a solid single to start the album out with and I'm really looking forward to this album because I've been a big fan of Blink 182 and Angels and Airwaves and I'm really excited to see what this new album has in store. That being said I probably give this song a 3.5/5. Thanks for watching guys and don't forget to subscribe. Take care Bye
