WARREN COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) -- A district court of appeals reverses the conviction of a Hamilton County man for his involvement in a Warren County drug ring. Allen Honeycutt was convicted on drug trafficking charges one year ago. He was sentenced to eight years in prison for supplying high school students in Mason with marijuana. Tuesday the 12th district court of appeals reversed that decision saying that Warren County was not the proper venue to bring the charges against him because none of his crimes occurred in Warren County. Warren County Prosecutor, David Fornshell, will now make an appeal to the Ohio Supreme Court. If that's not successful in the Ohio Supreme Court then he will appeal to the legislature so that the office has more flexibility in prosecuting drug trafficking organizations.
