Erlanger Planning New Women & Children's Hos

Erlanger is planning on adding a Women's and Children's Hospital to their downtown campus. We had a chance to speak to the project executive about the plans. The design includes roof-top gardens and private family kitchens and dining rooms, made especially for those who have to stay in the hopsital for an extended period of time. Design firm H.K.S. and construction firm Mccarthy have been chosen to work with Erlanger for the new additions. "We'll be working on the plans, engaging the whole community in that process - the families, the kids, the staff, the culutral organizations of the city," said Bruce Komiske, the project executive for Children's Hospital. A final design is expected in less than an year.
