Rochdale, Lancashire, UK, the College Bank estate wild flower garden dated 19 May 2014. This is one section out of four which is blooming with wild flowers. Two other sections have just been seeded and there is another section that is similar to this one but a little more exposed, but this is the main attraction at this moment in time. I call it a wild 'wild flower garden' because it contains a few so-called 'weeds' that make it more beautiful. This particular seed mix was used in the London Olympic Park 2012 - Pictorial Meadows Nice & Easy Hybrid Mix. Thanks must go to Rochdale Council Township 'Clean and Green Group' and Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH) for funding this particular community project. The building at the end of this video is Hopwood Hall College, a centre of excellence in education in central Rochdale. Posted John Wantling, Rochdale, UK
