Welcome back to the MrExcel netcast! I'm Bill Jelen and I'm currently 20,000 feet above Redmond, Washington, on my way to Microsoft. This is a special episode as it marks our 500th episode, but technically our 600th podcast since we started with episode 101 on a flight back from Vancouver. It's fitting that I'm recording this on an airplane, right above Microsoft, as it's a big day for us.

Today, I'm also taping this ahead of time because I'm traveling and it happens to be the day that Apple announced their new iPod. I was lucky enough to have Leo, Steve Gibson, and Sean Carruthers giving me live updates during breaks on what was being announced. The new iPod sounds amazing with a larger screen and I can't wait to get my hands on it.

In honor of our 500th episode, I'm excited to announce that my new book, "Learn Excel 97 through Excel 2007 from MrExcel" is coming out soon.
