In this video, I’m demonstrating Squats with Chains, an advanced training method that uses accommodating resistance to enhance both strength and power. Adding chains to your squats creates a variable resistance, making the lift harder at the top and easier at the bottom. This setup helps develop more explosive power out of the hole and improves your lockout strength, making it ideal for increasing overall squat performance.

I’ll walk you through the setup process, showing you how to properly position the chains and how they should interact with the bar throughout the movement. We’ll also discuss the benefits of chain squats, including how they force you to maintain acceleration and control at different points of the lift, helping to build a stronger posterior chain and improve overall squat mechanics. Additionally, I’ll share tips on form, bracing, and breathing techniques to maximize the effectiveness of the exercise.

If you’re looking to break through squat plateaus, improve your power in the squat, or add variety to your leg training, squats with chains are a powerful tool. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more strength training tips and advanced lifting techniques!
