I have previously posted several clips of Karen Young's only major hit 'Hot Shot' and here I have used the promotional clip for that song and re-edited it to help bring to life a long forgotten gem "Rendezvous With Me" a track written by the composer of 'Hot Shot' Andy Kahn. The song was meant to be a follow up for Karen Young in 1979 but was not finished. The singer died in 1991 and this track only saw the light of day in 2009. What I love about her voice and her choices are the melange of pop and dance and jazz and soul that all shine through her powerful and textured vocals.
