It's a myth that homeopathic medicines work slowly or only suited to chronic diseases. In fact, a medicine which is well selected, perfect for a case at a particular time and a well-prescribed medicine can do wonders and has an immediate action to the system. So even in acute cases of fever or colic, if a homeopathic medicine is well selected for that particular case, there can be immediate action seen. In a case of chronic conditions, homeopathy works much better than conventional drugs because the medicines improve the immunity and the resistance of the patient's system.
