If you have noticed any black spots on your teeth, visit your dentist. The dentist can remove it and do a filling. There are various different fillings like tooth colored filling, GIC, composite (these are new and compared to the older silver fillings, these are better). Dental decay will be terminated at this stage.. If you come to the dentist at a later stage have sensitivity or pain in the tooth, root canal treatment is recommended. Root canal treatments are not painful, local anesthesia is administered. This can be completed in three sittings and there are no side effects to root canal treatment.
