Phillip Sear plays a 'fairytale'—the second of a set of three Tonstücke (tone-pieces) by the German composer Jean Vogt (1823–88). It probably comes from the late 1860s/early 1870s. ------------------------------------------------------ Vogt was a well-travelled German organist and piano teacher who lived variously in St. Petersburg, New York and Berlin. The German Wikipedia article suggests that he was heavily influenced by Mendelssohn, but Schubert and Schumann seem closer models for the Op.120 set.
