The Uganda Young Democrats (UYD) expressed its dissatisfaction with the army for brutalizing civilians who exercise their civil rights.

They spoke two days after a joint operation by police and the army to contain demonstrations in various parts of Kampala, following the arrest of Kyaddondo East MP, Robert Kyagulanyi.
