Drama ensued at Nyali police station as Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho stormed the premises demanding the release of seven county inspectorate officers. The seven who were acting on behalf of the county government were nabbed for alleged trespassing as they demolished a perimeter fence erected around a one and a half acre beach property. Our Mombasa based reporter Juney Karisa has details of the tussle for the over 100 million shillings property that the county government insists is public land.
