Elizabeth, a longtime subscriber, asked for me to make a snow globe card for her in January. I finally got the stencil for the perfect snow globe.  Crafters Workshop stencil called Mini Urban Landscape was perfect for this.  I used Martha Stewart's Stucco Effects through the stencil on craft card stock and using a snow globe stamp I have from Stampin' Up that's retired (just type in snow globe Stampin' Up on ebay and you'll find this set).  I used an off white handmade cardstock and stamped the snow globe on it and then cut out the inside of the snow globe.  I put the snow globe on with Versa Fine Onyx Black ink and then outlined the snow globe with black marker after I cut out the center.  I used 5 1/4" high by 4" wide card stock and stamped and cut the images upside down from normal, meaning the fold of the card is on the bottom rather than the top.  I used another Stampin' Up stamp set that is no longer in production called Travel Post for more travel images.  I had a "dream" stamp that I used as well.  I used an old plastic baggie I got acrylic stamps in and filled it with  a little of each of Recollections Glass Glitter , Gold Recollections Micro Beads and Distress Glitter Clear Rock Candy.  I sealed the bag with my "As Seen on TV" Smart Sealer to seal the bag.  I used tear tape to attach the bag to the inside of the snow globe and attached the bag to it.  Then I ran two rows of foam adhesive and attached the sky line to it.  I then put tear tape on the bottom and top of the sky line and two more rows of the foam adhesive to the sides. I closed the card and then using tear tape on the back of it, I attached it to the brown card stock.   I used a brown cardstock that was 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" closed.
