My thanks to Tom for his mix; Pete and  bluegutter and HipTony for posting the clips that I have used to create this extended video for Pussyfoot's 'Ooh Ja Ja'. There was no doubt about it; I had a HUGE crush on Donna Jones aka Pussyfoot. Aussie Mick Flinn (The Mixtures) was the flip side of the Pussyfoot coin; being the songwriter and producer of the act. 'The Way That You Do It' had been the massive hit in Australia in early 1977, and virtually nowhere else in the world; having been released 18 moths before in Britain where Jones and Flinn resided.  Thanks to 'Countdown' and radio play as well as a promotional visit by the gorgeous Donna, the single shot to #1 spending 7 weeks atop the national chart. A few months later EMI issued 'Ooh Ja Ja' and it managed a Top 20 placing; neutralising the term One Hit Wonder for Pussyfoot. But the act was not heard from again on our charts; despite Pussyfoot releasing further singles into the 1980's. I just thought she was the sexiest chick i had ever seen and loved the songs. I've posted other versions of the singles on my channel. The youtuber 'Pete' posted the original clip of 'Ooh Ja Ja' a few months back, and it was the first time I had seen it. Last summer our National Broadcaster did a retrospective look at the iconic tv show 'Countdown' and blueutter posted the part performance of Pussyfoot singing 'Ooh Ja Ja' ( Countdown incorrectly captioning it as an unknown episode from 1976 - it was 1977). HipTony provided the 1980 release 'Dancer Dance' video which I have also used here to help create the extended Tom Mix of the minor hit 'Ooh Ja Ja'. 

Ah, the 1970's where song titles and choruses with lyrics made no sense at all!  'The Way That You Do It' featured the refrain "Ooh Na Na Hiya' and here we have supposedly a dance called the 'Ooh Ja Ja'.  More Innocent times!
