Big snow is on the way so I am getting ready for it. I got some major free hauls in the past few days for our off grid homestead. A few days ago I got a whole load of free hardware, tools and equipment which I can use around here. There was a heavy duty car floor jack along with many tools, drill bits, files, fasteners and much more. I am putting it all away in my wood shop as time allows. I have to sort it out soon so I can use my wood shop again. There are two buckets and many tubs full of stuff. This was a major free haul. There was also a lot of scrap metal which my friend got since I have no use for that. Later I found a garden cart which pulls behind a riding lawn mower. This is a homemade cart but it is in relatively good shape for its age. It will need new boards soon but that will make a good video for me one day to make my own boards on my chainsaw lumber mill and rebuild the trailer. Now I have to get a garden tractor working asap so I can use the cart to haul stuff around the property instead of using a wheelbarrow. The garden is still growing a bit. The cabbage family of plants are still alive although we have had some really cold nights and some snow already. The deer are eating our garden though. I say let them eat because the hunting season starts in less than a week. I have been working a lot outside the homestead so the fire wood pile has not been processed in a while. I hope to clear it all up soon though when I get the garden tractor running. I can load up the wagon and haul the logs over to the fire wood stacks. I tried burning some of the oak fire wood that I split but it is way too wet yet. The game cameras did not catch anything on video yet other than ourselves and our own cats. I dont think the predator came back this night. I will certainly update you when I get something on camera. But it did not always come back every night anyway. Well, the snow is coming. I have to get things ready. Thanks for watching. Please Subscribe & follow my daily videos.
