Goods and services transacted electronically will not be subjected to custom duties until the next ministerial meeting in 2017. This follows an e-commerce agreement that has been reached at the ongoing WTO 10th Ministerial Conference. According to the head of Kenyan delegation, Eng. Karanja Kibicho, the deal has been reached on the back of e-commerce being a frontier in promoting international trade and enhancing youth entrepreneurship. Here is Ronald Owili with the details.
