The East African Legislative Assembly has postponed sittings due to lack of funds. The Assembly should have convened in Zanzibar from 25th to 22nd December 2018. NTV has learnt that some countries have not yet fully sent in their remittances to the East African Community to run the operations of the regional body. One of Uganda's representatives to the Assembly Mukasa Mbidde said Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania, South Sudan and Kenya have not paid cleared their arrears. Uganda is the only fully paid up member. #NTVNews Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Like our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/NTVUganda
