More loot from the first stages of the quarry and our first use of the filler has given us plenty to make more toys/tools and complete more upgrades including:

centrifuge extractor
rotary macerator
singularity compressor
fancy piping
pumping lava
nano saber
portal guns
some exploratory mystcrafting
world anchors
and material set aside for arboretum, logger, combustion engines, and oil pumping

We play with some of these things, and I also discuss the sorting system, next steps on the space for it, and pump more lava to another geothermal generator powering electric furnaces to make smooth stone for the stone brick lining of warehouse.

Woah.

Note: We got so into playing that our progress has far exceeded our episodes. I will keep them coming out (nearly daily) until we are caught up...Apologies to my vanilla subscribers if things are out of balance for the moment.

Our seed is "Newtopia FTB LP" because our overarching theme is to build a super high tech minecraft utopia that complements the biomes, rather than a beastly industrial landscape.

The theme music for this series is One-Eyed Maestro by Kevin MacLeod on Incompetech.com. He describes it as music to make skeletons dance.

The thread for this series on the MinecraftForum is here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1592652-monkeywrenching-the-beast-a-feed-the-beast-lets-play/

From the website:
Feed the Beast is a modpack for the game Minecraft. It adds a huge number of items, recipes and world-generation to the game, and is used in the YouTube series "Feed the Beast." The modpack centers on several famous mods such as IndustrialCraft and BuildCraft but the full list is extensive. All of the mods in the pack have been approved by the modders to be included.
