Welcome to another episode of the MrExcel netcast! I'm your host, Bill Jelen, and today we have a special guest, Kathy Jacobs, who is an MVP in both PowerPoint and OneNote. But don't let that fool you, she also has some amazing Excel tips to share with us. Kathy is the author of the upcoming book, Excel the L Line, and she's here to show us a quick and easy way to transpose data in Excel 2007.

If you've ever had to transpose data in Excel, you know it can be a time-consuming process. But Kathy is about to show us a game-changing shortcut. All you have to do is select the data you want to transpose, copy it, and then click where you want to paste it. Instead of just hitting paste, click on the arrow next to the paste button and select "Transpose." And just like that, your data is transposed in one simple click. No more wasting time with multiple steps or using the "Paste Special" function.

I have to admit, I've always used the "Paste Special" function to transpose data, but Kathy's method is so much quicker and easier. And for those of you who are PowerPoint experts, don't underestimate the power of Excel. As Kathy has shown us, even PowerPoint MVPs can have some amazing Excel tips.
