Application of drone technology in Rwanda is revolutionizing the health sector through timely delivery of medical supplies especially in remote regions which are inaccessible by road. This is helping save lives and cut down on drug wastage as a result of expiry by as much as 20%. These are areas that are set to be explored with the legalization of drone use in the country where the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority is looking to invest 50 million shillings in the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Traffic Management System.
