Here we have a similar shot to 'D335 Summerseat 2' and taken on the same day with the Class 40 Preservation Society's machine D335 in green livery cautiously departing Summerseat station beneath a canopy of trees in an almost mystical setting. This shot is taken from the other side of the line on a beautiful summer's day on the East Lancashire Railway. D335 was built at Newton-Le-Willows at the English Electric Vulcan Foundry and entered service in 11th March 1961. The driver is Pete Wilcox and the date is Sunday 10th June 2007.
