RITA SARKAR'S dreams of a happy married life turned into disappointment and for years of her married life Rita endured abuse by her alcoholic husband. Having started a family, Rita found it even harder as the arguments at home affected their daughter. Further adding to Rita's struggle was their financial condition. Fed up with her situation and the daily arguments Rita decided to end it all. When Rita was going through the troubled times she received a tract from a family friend that encouraged her to look to Jesus for help. Rita started reading the bible and praying for her family along with the church. Rita decided to follow Jesus and as she kept her faith she saw her prayers answered. Today Rita gives glory to Jesus for saving her family and restoring peace and joy in her life.
