A perfect week for Moon-watching!  Early in the week our only natural satellite is a slim crescent, and performs a "slow reveal" of some easy-to-observe features long the ever-moving terminator line.  Use binoculars or small telescope to see dark maria, deep craters and towering mountains - some even inside of craters!  The furthest planet, Neptune, reaches opposition this week and is well up by late evening.  From moderately light polluted areas, it is observable even with simple binoculars, though to resolve any disk will require a medium-sized telescope.
