A wonderful rarity and minor hit from early 1980. Thanks to some videoplay on 'Countdown' and the inclusion on a collector's item compile 'Starcall', 'Still Sane' by American Carolyne Mas came into my radius and nearly reached the national Top 40 (falling short at #44), but still higher than its Canadian and American corresponding charts. Lifted from her self titled debut, 'Still Sane' is the track Mas is best known for. Sounding a little like a female Springsteen, Carolyne continued to record and tour with an album released as recently as 2013. Enjoy this great little gem from the end of a decade and the start of another!
