I have always wanted to mix photography and skateboarding together. In this small yet fun and pertinent vlog, I use the ultrawide Canon ultrawide 10-18mm stm wide angle lens to take some shots of skateboarders in my neighborhood. It is my first time shooting skateboarders. It made me learn two greater new lessons

1) My choice of an ultrawide angle lens was not a mistake. It is the perfect field of view

2) It is OK to shoot at a speed slower than 1/400th of a second. Motion blur is sometimes needed and cool to bring about an effect of motion.

Other things I learned

My Canon EOS 80D continues to prove that the DPAF or dual pixel auto focus is really excellent in more ways than one.
