Spain's Alba joins Barcelona from Valencia

Spain left-back Jordi Alba has joined Barcelona from Valencia in a deal worth 14 million euros.

The defender has impressed at Euro 2012, playing in every game in Spain's run to the final.

The 23-year-old will return to the club where he spent seven years of his youth.

Alba was released by Barca as a 16-year-old before joining Valencia in 2007.
