Gov't urged to halt implementation of new taxes on bottled water

The Water Bottlers Association of Kenya wants the government to halt implementation of new taxes on bottled water saying the additional charges will see prices double. The Association chair Henry Kabogo says the new excise duty that is expected to be implemented next month will be counterproductive in the quest to assist Kenyans access clean and safe water due to the high costs.
