Microsoft Excel Tutorial: What is the Best Number of Episodes in our RSS Feed?
Welcome to the MrExcel podcast! In today's episode, we're discussing a recent issue we encountered with our RSS feed becoming too large. This caused us to fall out of iTunes for a couple of days, leaving some of our viewers wondering where the podcast had gone. Our quick solution was to shorten the descriptions of some of our older episodes, but we want to hear from you, our viewers, about your thoughts on this matter.

If you primarily use iTunes, this may not be a problem for you as iTunes only picks up the last 50 episodes. However, we understand that some of our viewers may be using other Pod Catchers, so we want to make sure we are catering to everyone's needs. So, the question is, how many episodes do you think we should have archived in our RSS feed? We want to make sure we are providing a seamless experience for all of our viewers.

It's important to note that all of our episodes are available on the MrExcel website. If you go to the left-hand navigation and click on the "Podcast" link, you will find a page specifically for new podcast listeners. However, if you scroll down to the bottom, you will see a link to our podcast blog. This blog contains every single episode since the beginning of the podcast. You can even search by month to find a specific episode. So, rest assured, all of our episodes are still accessible.

We value your feedback and want to make sure we are providing the best experience for our viewers. So, please drop me a note at [email protected] and let me know your thoughts. Are you using iTunes or another Pod Catcher? And how many episodes do you think we should have in our RSS feed? Thank you for tuning in and don't forget to come back tomorrow for more Excel tips. See you then!
