The anti corruption court in Nakuru has slapped a 10 million shilling bond and surety of a similar amount on former Nyandarua Governor Daniel Waithaka and two former CEC’s over graft related charges in a 50 million shilling scandal. The judge declined to give the trio an option of a cash bail, meaning if they fail to secure the bond they will remain in custody. At the same time the court issued an arrest warrant for five other county officials implicated in the scam. Separately ODM has cleared Ochillo Ayacko to contest for the Migori senatorial seat.
