After a couple long days of travel, I'm so, so bored!

It's been a couple crazy days of flights and travel.
In this episode, I land in London to find out I'm actually at London-Gatwick and not Heathrow as I thought.  I also find out I have an 8 hour layover when I thought I only had a couple hours.  
All of this adds up to a very bored me.  London-Gatwick is definitely not the most exciting place in the world to have a layover.  It's a small airport with basically nothing to do.  And, to make things worse, the airport was freezing.  I mean, it must have been 15 degrees in there. What is this, a bus station?
After fighting boredom, I finally caught my flight out of Gatwick to Madrid.  
I arrived in Madrid a little after midnight and whipped over to my hotel to explain to you all the reasons I'm here.
I've got coming episodes from all over Spain.  I'll be here for about 3 weeks.
