Assistant principal accused of possessing methamphetamine appears in court

HAMILTON, Ohio (WKRC) - A former assistant principal, accused of having drugs at school, is out on bond.

Kevin Kernohan used to work at Brookwood Elementary School in Hamilton. He's now facing charges after the alleged discovery of methamphetamine in his office.

On Wednesday, he appeared in Hamilton Municipal Court for the first time in the case. He'll next appear in court for a preliminary hearing June 6.

Kernohan reportedly turned himself in Friday after a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was charged with felony drug possession.
