At Gaitheri Secondary School in Murang'a County, a technology that uses solar energy roofing tiles is giving a new lease of life to students and teachers. George Ndonga, a solar engineer and entrepreneur with over 30 years experience says local innovations are braking decades old domination by foreigners.
