KEBs officials face various charges including attempted murder

Kenya Bureau of Standards Managing Director Charles Ongwae, alongside other KEBS officials, are staring attempted murder charges in the face. The Directorate of Criminal Investigations officials arrested the officials following a directive by the Director of Public Prosecutions. The DPP says he is convinced that the officials, alongside various businesspersons, are criminally culpable for allowing substandard goods to enter into the Kenyan market.
