Cincinnati native returns to hometown with Cirque du Soleil

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Mary Seigel began skating at the age of seven at the Christmas rink that used to be at the Cincinnati Zoo. Little did she know that she would one day perform for Cirque du Soleil and travel across the country with the show. Mary grew up in Hyde Park and skated at the Northern Kentucky Ice Center throughout her competitive career. She will play Crystal's shadow in the show and is excited to make her debut in her hometown. The 2018 show "Crystal" is the first performance that has ice skating. Mary anticipates a lot of friends and family supporting her when the performance arrives in Cincinnati in December. "Crystal" runs from December 27-30 at U.S. Bank Arena.
