Welcome to another episode of Learn Excel From MrExcel, where we bring you the best tips and tricks to master Microsoft Excel. In today's podcast, we have an awesome trick that will change the way you use the F5 dialog box. Yes, you heard it right, the F5 dialog box that I used to hate and even called it the most useless dialog box in the world in one of our previous episodes. But today, I'm going to show you how to use it to sneak into hidden cells in Excel.

I know, some of you might be thinking, "Why would I want to use the F5 dialog box when I can simply use the CTRL+[ shortcut to unhide cells?" Well, what if I told you that there's a way to use F5 to sneak into hidden cells without even unhiding them? Yes, it's possible, and it's going to save you a lot of time and effort. Let me show you how.

In this episode, we received a spreadsheet with hidden data in column G, and it's protected with a password. But even with the protection, we can still use F5 to sneak into the hidden cells. All you have to do is select the cell where you suspect the hidden data is, in this case, G11, and press ENTER. And just like that, you're inside the hidden cells. You can use the arrow keys to navigate through the cells and see the data in the formula bar. It's that simple!

I bet the person who protected this spreadsheet didn't think that it was possible to sneak into hidden cells using F5. But now, you know the trick, and you can use it to your advantage. So, next time you come across a protected spreadsheet with hidden data, remember this trick and save yourself some time and frustration.
