Victims of the Solai Dam Tragedy have been cautioned against infighting that is slowing down the compensation process. Nakuru county governor Lee Kinyanjui warned divisions among families and politics had led donors to withdraw their support to the detriment of affected families. At least 233 people were affected when the dam burst killing 47 others.
