EACC averts possible loss of 4.2 billion shillings public money

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission says it has a dealt a huge blow to corruption networks, averting possible loss of public money estimated at 4.2 billion shillings. According to the anti graft body Chair Eliud Wabukala, the commission’s proactive investigations has also led to the recovery of over 352 million shillings over the last one year. The revelation was made even as it emerged that over 3000 state officers are being investigated over corruption-related cases.
