AirCare called after child riding bike strikes truck in Cleves

CLEVES, Ohio (WKRC) - A boy riding his bike ran into a truck in Cleves and injured his head Sunday afternoon. 

It happened around 3 p.m. on the corner of North Miami Avenue and Laird Street. 

The kid came down the hill on his bike and t-boned the truck, which was moving at a slow rate of speed. 

He had minor visible head injuries.

He was flown to the hospital by AirCare but was conscious and talking. According to Hamilton County dispatch he is expected to be fine. 

The boy was not wearing a helmet or any protective gear.
