A section of leaders from the Bugisu sub region have agreed that the people of Bududa living in risky areas should be relocated to the Bulambuli land which the Office of the Prime Minister purchased. The resolution came up in a meeting convened by the Prime Minister Dr Ruhakana Rukunda with parliamentarians and district leaders from the Elgon and Sebei sub regions. Following the meeting, Dr Rugunda explained that they had resolved to relocate the vulnerable people of Bududa. He added that the government would also harmonize the various differing views of the local leaders in Bulambuli over the suitability of the land there. He added that the government would soon release 10billion shillings of the 32 billion approved by Cabinet to resettle the people of Bududa: #NTVNews Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Like our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/NTVUganda
